Roar is a new type foundry and exhibition space, which bases its typefaces around the principles of experimental music. The disparate rhythms, jarring noises, and often-cryptic lyrics within this genre, serve as inspiration for designers to create new typefaces. |
I conveyed this concept using shapes, repetition and pattern to represent the experimental elements of music. I aimed to create a fresh, vibrant and modern aesthetic in the designs to reflect the emerging and diverse nature of this experimental space. |
